I'm Katerina

an interdisciplinary arts and fiction writer, living in San Sebastián, Spain. I'm working on my fiction, writing literature study guides for SuperSummary, and musing on the little things that matter, on my blog https://andthepea.com/. I have a PhD on Russian émigré ballet  from the Courtauld Institute of Art in London, and have published original research on visual art, dance and fashion. My publications include the text for Sartorial: the Art of Looking Like an Artist, and contributing entries to  30-Second Fashion and Bloomsbury Fashion Central

Here, you'll find a selection of my writing on the following themes: In motion, Words and places and The longest adolescence. As the site grows, you'll find short stories running alongside articles on how words, places and culture connect with our inner and social lives. Instead of writing about what I know, I write towards what I want to learn and discover.  Some content has been published elsewhere, while other pieces have been created especially for this site.
